Location: Callanish Sun Temple, Callanish, Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides.

Weather: Totally overcast, very cold and windy, speckles of constant rain.

Time: 12.45, Sunday 20th June 2004.

Detail: The energy signature was received via guidance. I walked around the inside of the central ring, anti-clockwise, tapping the glass vial on each stone twice. I was then allowed to enter the circle. I was requested to stand in the cairn and face the tallest (altar) stone, holding the vial on my heart chakra. I stood for around 5 minutes in silence and then was told that the transmission was complete.

This essence is the masculine aspect of the lunar presence. She is feminine yet masculine. Her whole persona is a conglomeration of different, diametrically opposed energies masquerading as one whole. A multitude of frequencies. The feminine with her myriad qualities – but containing the pushing and pressing outpouring of the yang aspects of masculine power. The female gently opening the space for the masculine to succeed in its mission of ignition.

This essence may appear to be a contradiction of many things – and it is! Sometimes a contradiction is needed because this mix and blend of opposites excites a multitude of possibilities. That is what this essence does; it excites a multitude of possibilities.

It stimulates and creates growth at a mental and emotional level. It brings together many elements of sun and moon energies from within the Earth Temple at Callanish and fuses them into a mix which exhibits a strange and wonderful fire with the ability to ignite the latent possibilities within you. Possibilities for growth!

This essence brings to you a contemporary convergence of energies via an ancient pathway. By this means, it fuses the old and valuable with the new and untried into a cocktail of delightful light. It incorporates the prayers, wishes, hopes and aspirations of thousands of worshipers who have gone before us. It fuses these with the coming light of spiritual ambition, which is responding to our call for clarity, arousal and pursuit towards our higher ideals in this present time.

Its nature is to awaken all possibilities within you and allow your gifts and talents to shine forth, thus drawing people and situations into your life, which will then create opportunities to develop those potentials within you.

Many of us do not even know what potentials may lie within us, but allowing ourselves to ‘be’ rather than to ‘think’, creates the doorway by which our potentials may enter our life.

Using this essence allows the moon to illuminate your life through the aspect of its own absorbed and reflected sun energy, nurturing you through its feminine passion for success, but bringing you the power you need through the masculine sun.
