Detail: Given from an unknown but ancient surviving tree at the top of the mountain on Rifle Range Road, Atherton.

We stepped down off the mountain road to the tree, which was about ten metres from the road in dense rainforest. This mountain was logged at the beginning of the twentieth century by the first settlers in the Atherton Tablelands, but for some reason this tree was spared and holds the memory of its brothers and sisters.

We didn’t have long as we were touring with friends, but the tree gave me one word whilst I stood next to it, which was Grace. Later the following evening, we discussed the tree and it opened up again and gave the following words.

Accepting the State of Grace within,

And showing the world,

Your Inner State of Grace.

These words are about Self-acceptance, the essence helps you to find your inner State of Grace and accept that you contain this wonderful quality. It then helps you to show the world this inner beauty.

It feels like this essence doesn’t need any more words than this as the basis for this essence, but to look at the nature of Grace might be helpful.

The tree graced us with its gift of Grace. An act of grace is typically a manifestation of favour, especially by a superior or someone of higher office. The tree placed its Grace within our hearts through this gift of the essence of Grace, showing us a pathway to find and accept our Inner State of Grace and share it with the world.

If this essence comes up for you, you can use the words given by the tree as a mantra or affirmation like this:

I accept my State of Grace within,

I love to show the world,

My Inner State of Grace.

Through this mantra, you bring your love and light into the world through your acceptance of your self.

Your inner state of Grace is a Divine quality of Light that you carry. Once you accept this, then you shine more brightly.

Grace is a flowing stream of love that melts its way through your being, allowing changes to occur on many levels.

Grace is a state of being within, of being able to stand in a place isolated from outside events, allowing you to hold your self in a place of gentility and understanding without judgment, but being able to see all manner of situations that surround your life.

Grace is like being in a glass box, fully protected from everything in the world, but being allowed to see everything, untouched by the energy and emotions of those events.

The essence of Grace allows you to develop this inner detachment from everything, whilst allowing you to play your part in bringing Grace into the world.

Love, inner peace, harmony, care and compassion for everything, flows from the Inner State of Grace.

Your Inner State of Grace, flows out through your whole being into the world, allowing others to see that you are developed and developing into a state of pure love. Your heart will open further. Your love will flow more easily. Your life will illuminate the lives of others, as your Inner State of Grace develops.

This essence connects you with your Inner State of Grace. It allows you to feel that silky smooth energy of love that dwells in the heart of your being. It gives you the opportunity to allow that love to flow from within you into the lives of others, bathing you in the reflection of love that will return to you.
